Premium Egypt Tour 2027
8 night/8 day Premium Egypt Tour
This is no ordinary Egyptian tour. This is a highly curated premium tour, where you will see the highlights of Egypt and more. With our private cruise ship and premium Egyptologists, you will have a one of a kind experience which you will always remember.
As an experienced traveler, I’ve been to Egypt several times. Each time I go, I find new things that are off the beaten path which I then add into my tour. I have found many little extra gems to ensure that our days are packed full of exciting places to see and adventures to do. I figure you’re probably only going to Egypt once, so let’s do our best to see as much as possible! I use amazing Egyptologists who have PhD’s in Egyptology, are world renowned, and are with us the entire tour. They know just the right amount of information to give as we travel and they build on that information throughout the tour. You’ll go home with not only great photos, but a deeper knowledge and understanding of Egyptian civilization old and new. I hope you’ll join us!

Day 1 & 2-Cairo
Museums-Mummies-Pyramids-Camels
We will begin as the Egyptians did with the very first pyramid! We’ll travel South to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid. We will go inside a couple of pyramids and tombs at this large complex, including the Serapium. We’ll eat lunch at a local farm (they even have camel on the menu).
We then return to Cairo to visit the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). There we will see the history of Egypt through many artifacts. All 5,000+ of King Tut’s items needed for the afterlife are displayed here.
Day two we start early to avoid the crowds at Giza and walk amongst the sphinx and the pyramids. Our local Egyptologist will teach us how they were built and who the pharaohs of the time were. We’ll have an opportunity to ride a camel with the pyramids in the background.
We will go into town to eat at a local restaurant for an Egyptian favorite dish of koshari. We’ll then visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). Here we will see THE famous royal mummies whose tombs and temples we’ll visit throughout our trip.
Day 3 & 4-Luxor
Tombs and Temples
We fly south to Luxor and head to the West Bank of the Nile to explore The Valley of the Kings. These pharaohs’ tombs are magnificent with hieroglyphics and paint which adorn the walls. Within the tombs are the burial chambers where we’ll see the empty sarcophagus’ (the mummies we’ll have already seen). We visit multiple tombs including King Tut’s, with an optional tomb (Seti I). In a nearby valley we will explore the Tombs of the Nobles to see how the Egyptian elites were prepared for the afterlife. We’ll complete the West Bank by visiting the large statues of Colossi of Memnom and visiting Howard Carter’s House (the archeologist that discovered King Tut’s tomb). We finish the day visiting Luxor temple adorned by lights at dusk. Check into our hotel.
Day four will begin with an optional hot air balloon ride. Flying over the West Bank allows you to see the farm land irrigated from the Nile and the drastic desert landscape where the pharaohs are buried. We will visit the famous and large temple complex of Karnak. Here the columns are so large, it takes ten people holding hands to surround one. We then drive South to Esna to check into our private cruise boat and eat lunch. We’ll visit the most colorful temple in all of Egypt: Esna Temple. We then begin sailing upriver/South towards Aswan. Traveling in a private boat allows us to port anywhere along the Nile. We’ll stop and visit a small village in the early evening.
Day 5 & 6-Nile Cruise
Nile-Gebel el Silsila-Kom Ombo Temple
Abu Simbel
Cruising up the Nile we will drink in the scenery from the top of the ship viewing the farm land and palm trees. We’ll take an early morning walk and visit Gebel el-Silsila, the quarry where all the stones for the Egyptian Temples were acquired. Then continue sailing until we reach Kom Ombo Temple and the Crocodile Mummy Museum. Each temple is unique with special hieroglyphics on the walls; yet the temples have a classic template that the Egyptians used through the ages.
Day 6 we will arrive in Aswan and take a private bus to Abu Simbel, a major highlight of our trip. We arrive after the crowds to enjoy these two temples: King Ramses II Temple and his wife, Nefertari’s Temple. When we return to Aswan. we finish our day by visiting the Aswan spice markets.
Day 7 & 8-Aswan
Aswan-Travel
We’ll begin our day in a small boat to visit an island and Philae Temple. It was transferred to the island for preservation when the High dam was built. Then another boat upriver to visit a Nubian village to see how the locals live. Along the Nile we see the bulrushes, birds, cows, farmers, and homes.
Day eight we fly back to Cairo.
